CARIA, Cidramus. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ (34.5mm, 24.37 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / On left, cult statue of Aphrodite Aphrodisias facing; on right, emperor standing facing, head left, sacrificing from patera over altar and holding spear; on far right, uncertain male figure standing facing, head left, wearing Phrygian cap and holding patera. RPC VI Online 5392. Brown patina with touches of green and red, minor roughness. Near VF. Very rare, only seven specimens cited by the authors of RPC.
